Our Makeover Story: Let There Be Songs to Fill the Air

BACKSTORY
During recent check-ins with each of our products, we discovered they were all having an identity crisis. Instead of sharing the same label design with other scents in a collection, each product expressed a strong desire to establish its own unique style. Here at Lit Up, we believe in individual expression and being inclusive. So, we decided it was time for a makeover!

WHAT'S NEW
While our products where with the makeover stylists, we completed their transformation by renaming each scent. Digging deep for inspiration, we got nostalgic and took it back to where it all started for us: music. You may know Lit Up Candle Co. was founded in 2015 by two beer lovers with a candle-making problem. What you may not know is those beer lovers met at a concert, got engaged at a concert, went "on tour" for their honeymoon, and continue to support live music. Feeling inspired to blend our passions, we named each scent after a song title.

Like music, fragrance is also layered in notes - which are now listed on our labels along with other relevant product information. And, all our products have new and improved packaging! 

Soy wax melts now contain over 10% more scented wax. Room sprays now come in an amber-colored bottle with a push-down fine mist sprayer and perfectly complement our upcycled beer bottle candles. And, we added more product information to our redesigned soy candle boxes to complete this cohesive new look.

Now that you know the backstory and some details, we can't wait to show you the big transformations. So, without further ado…please allow us to introduce our tried-and-true scents (on left, in alphabetical order) with their new name, unique color and design (on right).

In the words of Robert Hunter, “Let there be songs to fill the air.” While our abundant aromas purely fill your space like background music, you can explore the songs that inspired them. Indulge your senses. Cement core memories with both smell and sound. Listen to our Spotify playlist while you burn, melt or spray these “scent-sational” songs.
